Survivor Episode 13: The Final Kucha Bites the Outback Dust
by Barbara Fletcher

Well, there are no more Kuchas left in the Outback. With Elisabeth's ousting on Thursday, there are now just three skinny little Ogakors left.

The 23 year-old skin-and-bones footwear designer parted the show with the final words: "They just didn't want me to get into the final two because I would have kicked some major butt in that situation".

That seems highly unlikely with Colby winning every Reward and Immunity Challenge that CBS can throw at him. Even though he has lost 20+ pounds in the past 40 days, he keeps winning the opportunity to eat decent meals -- and that can only work in his favour in the end.

And by winning the latest Immunity Challenge (a memory game matching pairs of Outback items like crocodile replicas and roo poo), Colby also landed himself the latest in Outback Product Placement: a new Aztec -- which certainly surpasses a few Doritos, a can of Mountain Dew, or a Visa card.

To tie a big bow on top of the prize, he also won himself a meal with Mom -- and a campout in the back of his new set of wheels.

And all creepy "conjugal visit" comments aside, Colby had a nice time with his Mom. The next day she visited the camp with a sackful of presents for the other tribe members (including a new Texan flag headband for Colby), and generally had everyone in tears before her helicopter departure out of camp.

So much for the speculation about the "mystery guest" dropping in on the set of Survivor. We were expecting to see someone like Richard Hatch or even "Crocodile Dundee" Paul Hogan. But Colby was happy, and the happier Colby is, the closer to the million he seems to get.

We'll have to see what the next (and final) week brings.
