First and foremost: I am a writer. Sometimes I pretend to be something else — but writing always finds me again. There’s been some kind of blog with my name on it since 2000.
I am easily wooed by words, and have been known to swoon over beautifully crafted paragraphs and clever phrases. The web has also seduced me, and I like playing with code and widgets and style sheets. I’ve made peace with my inner geek.
Since 1997 I’ve maintained a writers’ resource website: [places for writers]. If you’re a writer you should visit.
I like to take photographs and write about them. If you tell me a great story I might use part of it somewhere in subtle (or obvious) ways. And I write curious parts of people into poems. There is probably something about you here somewhere.
My favourite colour is the ink-blue of twilight just before the sky sinks into black.
I think humans and animals are meant to share the earth. So I don’t eat either of them.
And I am married to the most amazing guy ever.
